3T MRI Test Results for Weslee

I got the results from last Thursday's 3T MRI. It's the very high resolution MRI that Weslee needed so we can see if there's progressive damage in his brain.

Ta da!

The brain damage is static.  That is, no additional damage.

Whew! That means he does NOT has Rassmussen's Encephalitis, and probably won't need a hemispherectomy.  Instead of having the right side of his brain taken out, he should be able to keep most of it.

One more test... the Wada test ... because it's suspected that he has speech on his right side in addition to the left, when it's only supposed to be on the left.  It'll be another 4-6 weeks before it can take place.

Thank you so much for your good wishes and healing thoughts.

Oh yeah, have you sent him your letter yet .. .telling him what your favorite movie or cartoon is, with maybe some stickers and a dollar or two?

Although I'm not doing the Friday Farmer's Market, I am still baking for people who have large orders. It's helping to pay that last hospital bill.  We're also going to have a yard sale towards the end of April ... clothes, movies, toys, and I'll do baked goodies then too.

I've also started seedlings for tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, herbs and flowers. Should be ready to sell these seedlings in early May.
